I wish you could confirm that it fits 97 fbody 4l60e, part number perhaps?

 

I don%u2019t believe Edge even uses part numbers that I remember seeing, but I could be wrong. It does indeed fit LT1 F-body and LS1 Y-body. This was ordered by a local shop who has dealt with Edge quite a bit over the last few years for both LT1/LS1 applications.

What additional confirmation would you like?

BTW... did I meet you at the track last year? I had the purple Firehawk.

 

The reason I am hesitant is bacause a few years back I bought a B&M converter and on the box it said not for use in 97 and up cars. After talking with Summit/B&M what they meant was the LS series motors (97 vette). Maybe Ill call edge or ask on the forum. Last time I was at the track was at Speedworld, Dec. 8th, my birthday. My wife broke her tranny in her SRT4 Caliber that day. I remember chatting with another dude there who had a Firebird.

 

I understand your hesitation, but we can verify for you if you want. I was talking to you about your AI setup. I had the purple car and there were a few other fbodies and GTOs in the group. I remember you had a blue car there too.
