Mike at WS6store.com called me this morning. He's talking with SLP about taking the hood back, or trying to get something figured out.

A word of advice. Try working things out before posting **** about a company.

Hey man, I saw this same thread on LS1tech. Why don't you give them a little time to work things out?

It's just not cool and I expect you to delete these threads once they fix the problem.

If I bought a hood that fit like that, I'd be a little PO'd too. Say they do replace it with one that fits right, are they going to cover the cost of installation from the first time. What about the trouble this guy went through to make an appointment, shipping twice, etc.

I'm sure they will replace it. They are great guys to deal with. I know, I am local to them. Don't jump the gun quite so fast until you find out what they will do for you.

I would too, but I sure as heck wouldn't bad mouth a company on multiple message boards until I atleast talked to them. And why wouldn't they? Have you talked to them? It's pointless to speculate

Why would it have anything to do with WS6store? If anything its SLP you should be mad at (after first going to them and if they refused to resolve the complaint) Its like getting mad at best buy becuase the tv you bought from them didn't last...that would be sony's, etc. problem.

In all fairness you should remove this thread until you hear something. Rubbing their name thrue the dirt while they attempt to resolve the issue is hardly fair.

Good luck getting the right hood as well. The hood should not fit like that. I could see why you are upset.

I dont know, if i bought that hood, i would be pissed, and if they make good on it, he can always compliment them for good service on this post, whats wrong with letting us know he recieved an inferior part? In his post it says SLP said thats how it fits, so you know he called?

Because the title of the thread is "Do Not Deal With Ws6store.com," not "don't buy an SLP hood."

So what your saying is shoot your mouth off first then say sorry later? That's very unwise.

I have had nothing but the best product and service from them. I have spent $3090.93 with WS6store.com, everything has arrived on the day they said it would and Has been top notch quality. It sucks that your hood is not up to par but it sounds like they are working on fixing what is wrong...I don't think you gave them a chance.

Hope they treat you with more respect then you have given them.
Good luck with the new hood.

+1 for great prices and service from WS6Store.com.

Also +1 for attempting to resolve the issue before trashing someone here.
