Hi everybody, I have decided to save up for a 383 instead of just installing a cam. So I have forsale a used Crane 227 cam or aka Baby Cam with 4,000 miles. The cam looks to be in execellent condition. I have purchased this cam from a fellow Camaroz28.com memeber. The specs are 210/224 479/518 lift with 1.5 rockers. so you never ran this cam? I want to get into the 12's, but I think this cam might be a touch too small for that. still might be interested though

 

With 1.6s that thing should be .511/.552, so its small, but not tiny...Should make a decent stock displacement cam...

Frank Benoit ran 11.4 at 117 mph with this cam, stock heads, stock intake, stock displacement, naturally aspirated. This cam works extremely well with the LT1 and doesn't get the credit it deserves. Unless you're trying to get into the 10's, there doesn't seem to be a big advantage to the bigger camshafts. I know because I have one. I've switched to something bigger, though, to match the turbo and 5400 rpm converter.

 

i have the same cam..

i ran a best of 12.5 on motor with all the mods i have right now without using n20...

My motor blew up recently and i may end up selling my cam if its in good condition...

going 355 with the biggest cam possible, even for a daily driver.

 

Cam has been sold.

 

That's not bad considering the FlowDisaster muffler. Change the muffler and run 12.20's.
