Re: Comp Cams and LT1 stuff

I'm interested in the cam. How many miles are on it?

Is this a current Comp grind?

Might also take a set of lifters, if they're in good shape.

Thanks,

Scott

Re: Comp Cams and LT1 stuff

IIRC the cam is new. Has been taken out of the box a few times to show off, etc. I'm not really sure if this is a current grind, but you can check www.compcams.com . I have a 306 in my 383, and this cam just sits in the shop. The lifters are in good shape. I'm comfortable giving out my address and phone number to people via PM if you want to come get these, or you can paypal glladewig@new.rr.com and specify what you're buying.

Still have the heads? Are they in good shape? Are they complete?
Very interested in them.

Re: Comp Cams and LT1 stuff

the heads are in good shape, no problems with them, but at $75 they don't come complete. If you want to pay a little extra, i could scrape up enough stock components to assemble them.

Do you still have the aluminum heads? What do they have on them?

Re: Comp Cams and LT1 stuff

Alum heads are dirty. they were on a car that blew the head gasket, but the driver wasn't smart enough to stop right away, and drove it home. they are complete, but i wouldn't keep stock springs that are 10 yrs old (car was a 95). alum heads sold bare unless you really want the old parts.

Cam is still available, i'm still looking for the cam card.
