Interesting, I am looking to down grade my LS1 and get an LT1 Trans-Am 
! I need the cash for my wedding.
I am selling a red 98Z with grey leather, VERY custom NOS kit (never sprayed because I still have the lines sitting in my closet), Mac-mid length headers, lid, limo tint, Torque Thrust II's with 315's, 98+ SS spoiler, in-dash 7" LCD, 141db, stereo system, 255lph Walbro in-tank pump, and much more.
I have the car in the Auto trader right now for $11, 500. E-mail me and we will DEFINETLY work something out if you are interested. I can lower my price by removing parts as well.
