This post is to remind everyone on this forum to be careful and avoid scams.A seller should be able to provide a picture of the actual item for sale and most will encourage local pick-up with cash in hand,versus PayPal or money order.Most of the sellers on this forum are honest and have sold items before without incident.If something seems too good to be true,it usually is.Additional comments and words of wisdom welcome.Thanks

There is a Buyer/Seller Feedback section on this site.However,not every good or bad transaction gets reported.

 

remember also : if you go through paypal, you have 45 days from the time you send money, to request a refund. And you have to file a claim and [B]ESCALATE THE CLAIM IN TO A DISPUTE[B}. You must do both steps in 45 days. If not, paypal cant help. I found out the hardway from a member on this site. Bought some headers y pipe door panels seats and got burned. Bought them around Halloween and by Christmas I couldnt get a refund from paypal.

 

Great advice guys..but we as sellers also have to protect our selves from the Buyers..

Another piece of safe advice when making a purchase is to ask for the seller's full name,phone number,e-mail address or some way to keep in contact after your money is sent.Thanks

 

and try the phone number out and email address. if email doesnt work or is fake you will get an automated email saying failure notice
