My question is: what would it take to fit in a mid 70's 400 block? I know retro-roller lifters are a must but what else?-the usual cam button retainer? I don't think i'm interested anyway... I wouldn't be able to go solid roller until my GTA is just a street/strip car and I don't see that happening until after college, so I'm leaning heavily towards a hydraulic roller for my 406.

Anyway... what would it take to fit an lt1 cam into a retofitted block?

I'm more then positive the cams are the same just the lifters have to be retro fit for the older blocks
