is the car spreadbore or squarebore and whats the model number on it . Also what is the make and model of the cam ?

sorry about the specific questions but I have bought things that were almost what I needed except not quite , even if the carb is a squarebore if its got a electric choke I might still be interested (for my girls trans-am). And is the cam a hydraulic cam like for a 84 camaro ??? (I want a cam with around .480 lift for my car when I slap some vortec heads on it)

HLY-0-1850S Model 4160, vacuum secondaries, bright shiny finish, single feed, 600 cfm, four-barrel, carburetor

The cam.... Is a Mechanical ....Makes A lil more power then a hydo cam.... I also have a set of 1.94/1.60 64cc chamber heads where used for 500 miles then went to 2.02 and dident even notice a difference

i was afraid that was what you meant when you said solid cam , i know the benefits of those but I wanna stick with hydraulic. My girlfriend has decided to stick with the quad replacement on her car by holley. But I have a friend who I told about your carb last night at our club meet, he has a edelbrock on it right now and he doesnt like it at all and has been talkin about getting a holley (which he should have tried first , he tried an autolite for 450 bucks first and it was a piece, lol ) he has a 70 cougar with the 351 so I think this would be about what he needs. Ill tell him the model number and see what he says and get back to you hopefully by tomorrow.
thanks , Justin Linett

Would your buddy want to sell his edelbrock? I tell you what, my holley is a decent carb but you just ALWAYS have to be messing with it.
