This is the big daddy 1000+ hp crank. Has BB chevy snout which can be turned down to your needs by Moldex for $75.00.

So being a 3.48 stroke, could I use this on my 355? I should look up the stock stroke of my LT-1 and see. I will just do that. But I need a new crank, and with the big block snout I can run a supercharger with more boost, am I correct? And pics would be nice too: drivefast4fun@yahoo.com

Any reason this couldn't be used with 6" rods and pistons made for 6" rods"? If so I may be interested.

I was thinking about using the crank for a blower setup but my engine builder said it was overkill and too expensive. You would have to get a special timing set for the BB crank snout, have the stock cover bored out and a new seal for the cover pressed in. That doesn't include getting a special balancer along with a custom length hub for the car.

you beat me to the punch! My machine shop guy said just about the same thing. Only he emphisied a little more on how expensive the BB balancer would be.
