I bought the kit locally. They are I would say an "off-brand" had them for about 4 months and they've worked great no flickering no ballast problems, nothing.

I siliconed them into the stock housings, also wet sanded the housings to get a cleaner look. They are bright. Brightest lights ive seen a 4th gen..

 

do you still have the k&n intake, and does it come with the blockoff plate to keep heat out from engine area? no cracks? plz send picture if possible dnvegeta@comcast.net, and i also need a bolt from the upper hood strut, lost mine in iowa

Yes, I still have the K&N Intake, the LT1 verison of this does not have a heat shield. The filter is placed in the fender well....so its always cool air. There is a small blockoff plate that sheild the heat right after the filter if thats what you are talking about. No cracks. very good condition.
