I just had this converter rebuilt. It was built originally by Transmission Specialties and I ran it about a year and had it sent off, restalled, and completely rebuilt by BTE with new bearings, stator, etc. This has zero runs on it since restall and rebuilding. This converter should go 5200 behind around a 500fwhp small block. It hasn't even been taken out of the box since rebuilding. Made for a foot brake car and made to still be streetable, will take $420 shipped for this converter. It's a smokin deal on this converter, to buy this same converter from BTE it would be in the $600-$700 range. BTW, it's an 8inch converter. If any questions, feel free to gimme a call. also, would do some trading on a 8-10 inch 4000-4200 converter for a th-350. Only reason for selling converter is motor in my car is being sold and going with a lot milder motor, this converter would be way to much for the new motor. Thanks for looking!!
