Would you be interested in a trade for that Borla setup? I've got a mint 2OTL catback, Id trade, plus some cash?

Sorry can't trade as I am parting the whole car. Only interested in c6z parts. You could always buy it and sell your setup!

Hmm, I was going to ask why you were selling it with so little miles.. but I see your parting out? Why is that if I may ask?

is this the steel or aluminum flywheel? factory imbalance or neutrally balanced?

I am parting out the car because I have to many toys. Got a good deal on a 07 C6 Z06 and now I need money to make it faster! Clutch is neutral balanced as I had it on a internally balanced 383.

So you have a motor that needs the holding power of a street twin yet is still balanced through the flywheel??? You could always have the street twin balanced to match your current flywheel if that is the way your motor is balanced.

When my rotating assembly was balanced the builder asked for the flywheel too... so I would assume my motor is still factory imbalanced, correct?

I am not sure why your builder would want to balance your rotating assembly externally with a flywheel you won't be using with the combo...if he did you could match the balance on the street twin flywheel. Most builders balance the rotating assembly than neutral balance the flywheel so you can swap clutches easier. It just makes more sense. Maybe he wanted to set your flywheel up neutral which would be the most logical as LT1 flywheels are horrible when you resurface them and tieing that into your motors balance is not going to make clutch swaps fun.

Sounds like I will have to be calling him to figure that out. UGH this is such a PITA.

I had the rotating assembly balanced like 4 years ago, and have reused the bottom end in two engine configurations since then.

Once I figure that out, Ill get back to you if you still have it.

Many thanks for your time!
