It will be fine N/A. It will pull to about 6200 RPM with stock heads and make about 10 more HP than a CC 503 and about 5-10 less HP than a CC 306 cam depending on how high you spin the engine.

It will DEFINITELY have alot more low end power than the 236/242 cam.

You will need to shim the springs to 1.750 to get enough seat pressure to work with this cam.

it "could be' just like a CC 503 cam "could be".

ANY car would accelerate better with a stall converter, even with a stock cam but this cam does actually make enough low and mid range power to actually be driven with a stock converter.

LE cam

I am interested. What are the characteristics of the cam? I am looking for something to put in my stock bottom end LT1 vette. Maybe something between an LE1 and LE2 cam. Will this make more power than an LE1 cam? It needs to be reliable enough for a daily driver with no vacuum/brake issues. I actually prefer a deep choppier lope similar to the LE2 cam but not if it is going to cause reliability issues. Am I better off going with a different custom selected cam? How much NA power will this cam make in my car? See signature for mods below. What condition is it in? Is there any wear? How many miles? Do you have pics? If it sounds like the right cam for me I'll take it.

Thanks

I'm looking at cc503 (224/230 .537/.544 112lsa) w/ 1.6RR's, this cam looks to be fairly close in performance. How many miles on cam?
Also, what is your paypal address?

Thanks!

cam seems to be in good shape. There is a wear pattern where the lifters ran across it but not going flat or anything severe.

This cam has .600/.600 lift with a 1.6 rocker and will need GOOD springs (150 + lbs on seat and 380 lbs open). The Crane 10308-1 sprinsg will work if set up at 1.750 (they usually set up around 1.850-1.870 with no shims) and the Patriot Gold Extrteme springs set up at 1.780" will work or even the PAC 1220/1520 springs will work set up at 1.850".

The PAC 1218/1518 or Comp 26918 springs will not work with this cam.

Pay Pal is the same as my email address (nighttrain66@msn.com) but do not send $$$ until we have finalized a deal as there are sveral people interested on several message boards.
