I see over 13,500.00 in just parts, easy. Thats not counting machine work, gaskets, and all the other little stuff that adds up really quick. Machine work alone is at least another 1000.00 on an engine like this. This is a great deal for someone, you just gotta find that person with a lump sum of cash, good luck and another bump for a good deal.

Im going to throw my .02 in.

I built a 383 N/A LT1.

I sold the orignial engine... kept accessories, comp, and engine harness... but motor was sold from intake to oil pan.

I have over $15,000 into my build up... and should make right around 500rwhp n/a. This is a STEAL at $13,000.

I kept track of every penny, up until I got over $12,000, then I lost count, and estimated the rest. Thats block, machine work, sensors (that I didnt keep) porting work, head work, cam, lifters, ect... you get the point.
