I have a new spec 4 for my 94 TA for sale. I bought this about 6months ago and finally got engine installed and ready for clutch. My mechanic talked me out of the stage4 said it was too radical for my in town driving so Im going with something else. Im asking $500 shipped, it comes with everything as it did new. No miles on it at all.

 

Come on someone has to need this. Shoot me some offers I want to sell it.

 

Its hardly "too radical" for street driving around town. I have been using my stage IV for the last 2 years in my car with mods in sig and I love it.

 

Oh hey my disk is about shot from all the abuse I have gave it so if your willing to part with just the disk let me know I will take it

 

I already ordered a new clutch. I wont part it out.

Clutch is for sale guy backed out. Let me add he backed out because I had this installed in my car but put 0 miles on it. I put throwout bearing in wrong so thats why I took it to mechanic. Clutch is like new 0 miles for $440 shipped, very firm on that, I am losing $100 on a new clutch.

 

why did you put a new throw out bearing in it? i was just worried about a install gone wrong.... but your behavior in the quickness of a refund doesnt merit that.

 

I didn't put a new throwout bearing in. What happened is I just got my engine put together after rebuild. I put this brand new spec 4 in when I installed trans. Apparently I put the throwout bearing in wrong hence the clutch would not engage. So since the engine install I never installed drive shaft because I knew the clutch would not engage (clutch pedal was too hard to move). Then I got fed up with messing with car so I took it to my mechanic who told me I had the throwout bearing in wrong, and that he thought the clutch was too big for my application anyway. I agreed it probably was since I only drive on nice days and in town, so I ordered a stock Valeo clutch which should be here any day now.

 

did you mean the clutch fork? the piece behind the slave that connects to the throw out bearing?

is that what wasnt in properly...because you shouldnt have had to install a throw out bearing since they come pre-installed from spec.

 

It does not come pre installed from spec. Its separate
