Beautiful 1994 Z28 Rolling Chassis
Beautiful 1994 Z28 Rolling Chassis
This beautiful red Z will be a chassis within a week or two...
I'm pulling the engine, nitrous, tranny and possibly the radiator and exhaust (negotiable)... Engine appears to have spun a bearing...

Mods
Keep in mind all the engine and tranny related mods will be removed from the car. Paint is next to perfect, stored winters, never been wrecked, clear title, etc...
Price has been lowered to $4,000 obo...
Edit: BTW, I forgot to mention before. The money from this sale is goin to be used to build my LT1 into a 383 stroker. If you have A professionally assembled LT1 383 or 396 stroker, preferably with forged internals, then I would be happy to consider a straight up trade... Also, if all you have is a 383 or 396 stroker "kit" then I would be willing to trade for that plus some cash... Ok, end of edit...
Let me know and feel fre to make any reasonable offer if you think the price is out of your budget...

I'm not going to type the whole thing out again... I just had a HUGE post here telling people that I am not interested in their opinion of what the price should be unless they are honestly interested in the car. I deleted it because the gentlemen removed his post that was just like the one you just posted. Notice the OR BEST OFFER part, that is there for a reason...
I'm not a moron, I realize I probably won't get $5k, but I also know that if came in and said $2k or $3k, people would still want to negotiate for more money off. I have priced it this way for a reason. If you are not interested in the car, please keep your opinion to yourself...
Thank you...

EDIT: BTW, I have seen rollers going for around $2k on here, but those cars had rebuilt titles, questionable frame straightness, and often needed body work. My cars exterior is next to mint besides the normal front end and inner fender rock chips, it has never been wrecked, has a clear title, lots of power options, a beefed up rear, and no rust...

Hey Garrett......whats up man. What happened?
What is the milege on your car?
Anyway, I have this I might be interested in doing a partial trade on:
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=271440
I would need some money in addition to your car for the motor tho.
Just as a reference, I sold two strait rolling chassis cars in the past year. One was a 94 T-top Z for $1500, and the other was a 95 Forumla with a full 6 point chromoly cage for $2500.
Thanks bro
Jason

Jason, I wouldn't mind having that beast, but the problem is the money. I am selling this car body to pay for the stroker kit, machining etc, so basically it is my budget... I can't afford to pay anything more than the car by itself... I know that engine is worth more than the car, so I wouldn't expect the straight up trade...
84camZ... If you want to talk about the price, feel free to give me a ring at 814-598-2501, ask for Garrett, or message me on with screenname draniertterrag, or you can email me at glr7495@cs.rit.edu...
I understand that $5k is a bit high, so If you make a reasonable offer, I am sure we can hammer things out...
Edit: BTW, I forgot to mention, there is about 82k miles on the body. The odometer reads around 83k miles, but that is because I drove for a few weeks with an uncalibrated speedo after the 4.10 install...
