Auburn HD Posi for 10-bolt

Hi guys -

I have for sale an Auburn posi for GM 10-bolt, 28 spline 3 series carrier, yada yada, you know the deal. This is a direct replacement for all GM 10-bolt 7.5" carriers for 3.23 and up gear ratios. Here's the catch though -

This is Auburn part number 542040, which is the top of the line posi that Auburn makes for the 10-bolt. This posi has the heavy duty high-pressure springs. This is the final word in GM 10-bolt posi-traction.

I bought this posi brand new, installed it in my car, and put less than 300 miles on it before I pulled it and switched to a Ford 9". That was 4 years ago, and now I'm just cleaning out some parts. It still has the carrier bearings pressed on, and they are in good shape.

These are $445 brand new. I'll let it go for $200 shipped to your door.

PM if you have any questions!

Thanks!

PICTURES AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST! JUST PM ME AND I'LL SEND THEM ON OVER. - I don't have a web hosting account to link to them. Sorry!

This is the heavy-duty unit that came on the SS's? Does the Auburn use the cone clutches? I am mildly interested, my Torsen is working fine, but it also has 100,000 miles on it....
