Ati d1

Freshly built from Procharger,

ATI D1 for LT1 Fbody. I had this on my 95 Z28, I have decided to go Turbo.

Includes all brackets, bolts, pulleys, 3 core custom Intercooler, piping, oil feel and return.

$3000.00.
I will sell minus the intercooler and piping for $2500.00

This will make 600+ rwhp easily, Ive seen over 700 to the tires, but youve gotta have the motor to compliment it for that power level.

Located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Re: Ati d1

Before I do searches for info do you mind answering a few questions?

- Is the tensioner spring-loaded?
- How loud is this ...say ...compared to a V1 or Powerdyne (YOUR unit, ATI's vary tremendously)
- Do you have any pics of it installed (so I can contemplate doing it myself)
- 8 rib or 10 rib?
- Anything else custom besides the IC?
- How many miles on rebuild? ...any receipt or warranty?

I have a nice upgraded Powerdyne system but I'm interested in upgrading. I've had my heart set on a nice Aftercooled V1 - Vx system but they're hard to find used, so this seems comparable and I'm gauging interest.

The tensioner is manual adjusted, I hate belt slippage.

It is one of the loudest blowers Ive heard, next to the older P600B from ATI. It is very comparable in my opinion as far as noise to the V1, I think louder, but who knows.

Im almost positive its a 12 rib setup. If its not 12 its 10. Belt is new.

All piping is aluminum 3in with rubber connectors. You can have it welded to fit to eliminate the rubber connectors, which is something I always meant to do but never had a problem so I didnt.

Zero miles on the rebuild, it was a while back but I never put it back on the car after I had it rebuilt, its been sitting in a box in my closet. Went through a divorce and never put it back together. All the piping is brand new, I ordered it and never put it together.

Its basically a new kit minus the brackets and pulleys. I planned to upgrade after I had it rebuilt, bought a ton of parts, never put it back together.

IMO, ive had both vortec and ATI, and Im a die hard ATI man, they sound better, they have less issues, Im not big on the aftercooler thing, like intercooling. Dont want to have to ever mess with the water thing, laziness I guess.

The ATI made more power, easier install. I have just been a fan. If I decide to do it again and dont go Turbo, it will be another ATI.

Re: Ati d1

Thanks for the info. I don't think I'm interested but I agree with your points in spite of that, so here's a TTT for ya for a blower that makes lots of power and a mean sound!
