First of all, I'm not trying to **** anyone off or anything like that. I tried to give him the benifit of the doubt, maybe he's out of town or something like that, but I'm tired of waiting. I recently bought, well actually, I thought that I was buying a complete optispark from him. As it turns out, all he sent me was a cap and rotor. I paid $240. That's insane. Just for a cap and rotor. I emailed him right after I recieved it and told him that I wanted my money back. He emailed me back and said that he didn't understand why. He said that he sent me exactly what he had posted. This is the post-http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=329528. That is not what he sent me. It came in a NAPA auto parts box. The one from Summit is the actual opti with the cap and rotor. After a few more emails back and fourth he finally sent this response, "I tell you what, I'm still not understanding what the complete opti spark is? If you can come up with a picture and I can validate the picture then I'll issue the money back.
Andy." I sent him pictures on Jan. 23,2005 after recieving the email and he has yet to respond back to me since. Everytime I log in I check to see if he has been online. The last day he was on the forums was on Jan. 25th. I've sent him numerous emails and PMs but he wont respond back to me.I even have a phone # but he wont answer or return my messages All I want is my money back so I can get an actual opti. I've bought quite a few parts from this forum and have never had a problem like this. Does anyone know who White Lightning is or how I can get ahold of him. This really sucks!

 

Save every conversation you've ever had with him and contact his local authorities. I had a very shady member try to screw me (and many others) years ago. We talked to his local PD and got our money back.

How can I find out who his local PD is?

 

If you know his address (was there a return address on the package?) you can just look up the local PD in an internet phonebook such as www.dexonline.com. If you don't know what city he is in, take the phone number and put it into a reverse phone book such as www.reversephonedirectory.com.

 

I don't know him but i think he lives in Lexington Kentucky .That is about 1 hour and 30 minute drive from me.I hope you get your money back.If you get you money back you can get a complete opti spark at www.samtaylor.com for 250.00 shipped.I just bought one from them and shipping is fast.They have the best prices on gm parts.

 

Just so you know, White Lighting sent me a private message. He is still viewing the forum and has read this thread.

Like I told White Lighting: I do not know the full story about this sale. All I have heard is "he-said" from both sides. I just hope you two can work this out with out involving the authorities, from my experience they do not take internet fraud lightly.

As it turns out, White Lightning is a very busy guy. He just got married and has been on vacation. That's why I couldn't get ahold of him. He wasn't exactly sure about the part he was selling so there was a misunderstanding. I would like to apologize about telling everone not buy from him. I would just like to remind everyone to know what your selling / buying, so problems like this don't occur. He is a stand up guy, just a little hard to get ahold of, he will be returning my money.
