i have a 305 that i took out of an 86 IROC that we stripped for parts (car was in kinda bad shape and abandoned at the local Chevy dealership i do work for). it was showing 77K miles (not sure if thats 177K or not to be honest). well i still have the motor b/c i had plans on putting it into a later model S10 after rebuilding it. but time went on and i bought a newer S10 instead (a 94) that im using for gas mileage so the V8 in an S10 idea i had was scraped and now im left w/ this motor in my garage in the way. the motor needs to be rebuilt (it had been rebuilt sometime in its life) b/c i found a little metal tag that said "Remanufactured by Ford" So i know noone wants a 305 around here,but i know some people like to port the 305 heads. But 1 of the rocker arms came off and chewed the end of the valve up and it got bent and it needs a new valve guide installed. Thats the only prob w/ the heads...so they need a new guide and a new valve. If any1 wants them,you can offer a price and ill look up the shipping cost.
heads are in overall great shape,and being that they are 86,they DO NOT have centerbolt valve covers.
