Well I have made my decision to go with a VFN produced Sunoco hood. That being said my black General motors made by SMC SS hood is up for grabs. Assume the hood will need to be repainted. The paint is in good shape with the exception of a fingerprint that was left when the clear was curing, and two stone chips smaller then the size of a pencil eraser. The hood has a section about 7inches long where apparently the hood was cracked and fixed. Personally I I think the repair job sucked but it was on the car when I bought it. From about 2 feet away it looks fine but right up on it you can see what looks like little ripples under the paint, you can see this in the last pic I highlighted it for you so it shows up a bit . It all comes down to just how **** you are about the if you want to get it painted. It didn't stop me from buying the car The hood has absolutly perfect fitment and lines up nice with the fenders and such. The car is in my garage on jackstands stored for winter so the pics I got are not the greatest. I am not interested in shipping this hood so please do not ask.
