DUDE!!!!! I don't have to tell you that this frickin' sux donkey ballz but I can't believe you're going through this!

As far as B&B is concerned, I've dealt with them several times, as have my fellow local F-Buds, and have nothing but stand up comments for them and their work. Truly top notch stuff coming out of that shop.

As for Mark, he's never done anything to annoy or rip me off personally but I can tell you that he's a MAJOR LAGGER! Not sure if that's cause of his medical condition (heard he was in some accident years ago that messed him up pretty good) or because of his job but for whatever reason, he would take literally FOREVER to get back to me on stuff.

On the other hand, he was the one who clued me in to a few 'loop holes' in the CA Bi-Annual Smog laws and saved my *** w/o my ever asking him for help. So it's weird. Really weird since this is obviously not the first time this has happened. Perhaps Brian (my buddy who worked on his 396 through Mark) and myself just got lucky???

I'll give my boy a call and see if he knows where Mark has moved on to and get back to you.

Hate to see this crap happen to good people I'll tell you that much.

Keegan

Yeah, I have NO problems with B&B.....i have run their stuff on my car and it has performed very well. I still hope that this deal will pan out since I want them to port these heads. They do killer work. I just hope Brian (the owner) actually gives enough of a care to want to help me in this situation. He is the only person that can really help at this point. Apparently he is going to be closing his shop tho and moving to NC early next year. ???

Anyone in Redding want to help me/us out? Not looking for any hitmen or anything, as I would never resort to taking the law into my own hands, but it would be actually nice to get some info here as I live 3000 miles away.

If nothing has happened in the next 3 weeks, I am going to fly out there myself.....not going to be too happy about that.

Well, if you do end up out this way, make a pit stop in Reno and we'll party it up a bit to take your mind off your troubles. ;-)

And like I said, I'll see what my buddy Brian knows about Mark's where-abouts and get back to you cause this AINT cool!

Late,

Thanks Keegan. By your "buddy" Brian, do you mean the owner of B&B? That would be helpful. He is due back to the shop next tuesday.

Mike at B&B told me that Mark actually stopped by the shop last friday. I am well aware of Marks medical past as he almost lost his life when he was involved in an accident with a drunk driver However, that does not excuse anything since I know he is "out and about" and just not wanting to get back to people.

Nope, sorry. Not the same Brian. I know the owner Brian, but only through doing business with them.

Mark continually used either his work schedule or his medical problems to explain away delays to me over the last 14-15 months too. I was extremely patient with him over that time, and always ended up feeling like a heel for pushing even as hard as I did, even though deep down I suspected it was a load of you-know-what. Here's a small sample...

Oct. 2nd, 2001
I'll upload new photos and status this week, I've been far to busy taking care of medical issues since my accident several years ago.

Nov. 7th, 2001
Sorry for the delay, I've been medically unable to respond;

March 11th, 2001
this motor dyno's this week as I'm simply out of available time with medical and work issues;

July 30th, 2002
I'm schedule for dyno time, then we'll have to make a final decision on the trigger system (buy parts) and ship her off. More to follow. (Sorry for the delay, with race season in full swing the shop has been swamped; not to mention medical issues on my side).

Dec. 4th, 2002
I've never asked for any money, nor am I going to; in all honesty my biggest issue has been medical and in fact I'm getting ready to sell ALL my F-body stuff.

June 4th, 2003
I'll head over there tomorrow. Primary reason has as always been medical (long term problems)

June 17th, 2003
I do want to apologize for the delays, however with medical related issues and a very limited schedule; dedicating time to this project has become impossible.

Sept. 1, 2003
I'll make sure to drop those items off this week, if I could only convery my scheduling nightmares

Now if he's legitimately this plagued by medical issues, then I'll be the first to apologize, but after hearing it a dozen or so times over the last 2 years while the months roll by, you have to start to wonder.

The only reason he dropped by B&B last Friday was to (finally) drop off my parts to save himself the shipping costs. God only knows how long it would have taken to get those parts if I had to wait for him to ship them separately...

Same here....I have been EXTREMELY patient with him as I considered him a friend. I am a pretty patient person just by my nature, and never have I pushed.

I truly feel bad for what happened to him medically/physically, but he is not crippled or incompetent. In fact, he is a very smart guy. He is able to ride motorcycles....he has 4 crotch rockets, a Viper GTS, 95Z with a Vortech YS trim (421ci LT4), and a 95 Mustang GT 'vert.

Just an update.....I pleased/suprised to have received 2 emails from Mark today. He said he is picking the heads up on Monday and shipping them to me. I'll keep everyone posted.

Thanks, Jason
