Specs....
Type-S speakers feature a larger voice coil and silk soft-dome to produce high-quality sound. The new grille not only has a sleek aluminum look, but is also designed to help optimize sound by improving sound dispersion. The angle of the tweeter guard complements the angle of the surround guard, resulting in linear expansion of sound and less distortion of mid and high frequencies. Type-S coaxial speakers come in a variety of sizes to fit your vehicle – the ideal upgrade for your factory speakers!

Do you know if my aftermarket head unit will be enough to push these speakers or if I need to install another amp for them. I already have an amp installed near my t-top holders that is powering my 10" Alpine Type R sub. The amp that is powering it is just a monoblock though so I wouldn't be able to use it to power the components. If the aftermarket head unit should do the trick then I may be interested.

The Alpine Type S speakers can be sufficiently powered with an aftermarket head unit. Any decent CD player should provide enough power for them.
