Where do you live in Louisiana? I have an alpine headunit in my car right now. Will this fit directly in place of that one?
Thanks
Omar

I live in jennings but I make trips to baton rouge every now and then. It might not have the same wiring harness, but I could put it in for you no sweat.

Well my car is in Franklinton,la right now. You could come down and install it there and help me do my oil pan gasket. Would you take 300 for it? What im worried about is it fitting. Isn't 1 1/2 DIN bigger? I dont really want to have to spend more money on other things to make it work.
Thanks
Omar

It fits in the 1 DIN slot but it flips out to 1 1/2 DIN. I really need to get 350 for it at least if you are gonna pick it up. Let me know though.

TTT, to clear up any misconceptions, this unit will fit in the place of any aftermarket cd player without modification (besides replacing the sleeve which is a 2 second process)

The 1.5 DIN Display isnt exactly 1.5, it is called Phantom Face by alpine, it is slightly bigger to allow ease of use and more buttons without comprimising the size of the display
