Looks like this cable is going for $85 new, is that right? Can you get it cheaper anywhere? Been out of the scene for a while.

its an OBDII connector for the 95 OBDI ?
or is it purely OBDII for the 96 OBDII?

OBDII Connector for OBDI PCM. Looks like all AKM cables work with OBDI PCMs only:

Anybody know what year GM switched the f-body to a true OBDII PCM? Obviously the connector style changed in 95'

i think it was mid 95

...single cat 95 would be OBD1 ... dual cat 95 would be OBD2

FYI- all 95's are OBD1, they just use a OBD2 style connector in the car. 96 up are OBD2. The cable you have is for a 95 car only.
