AFR LT4 195 heads For Sale
AFR LT4 195 heads For Sale
Hello everyone,
I am new to the site and have been told that their are quite a few LT1 enthusiast on this board. I look forward to exchanging modding tips with members here in the future.
I am selling my AFR LT4 195 heads that came of my 383 street strip motor. The information about the heads is as follows:
DESCRIPTION:
195cc runner LT-4 head. This head is AFR's biggest emissions legal head. (CARB EO#D-250-2 for engines up to 1994) Part #1031.
SPECS:
Valve sizes: 2.02 Intake and 1.60 Exhaust; stainless steel.
Combustion Chamber size: 74 cc
Exhaust port size: 64 cc
Porting: Standard 70 percent CNC "race ready" porting from AFR. Flowcharts can be referenced at AFR's website.
Note: In this race ready form I made 370 horse and 370 torque "rear wheel" with a comp 503 cam and non ported LT-4 intake and 2800 stall. MAIL ORDER TUNE!
These heads can be ported out to 100 percent and have a 2.08 intake valve installed for those wishing to make more power; and additionally do not care about remaining emissions legal.
No special parts required; However, many of you may already know that the LT-4 intake from the factory has a "raised 7 degree angle" that is superior to the standard LT-1 intake. Therefore, an LT-4 Intake MUST be run with these heads. Also, the LT-4 intake runners will act as a restriction to these heads if they are not ported out to match the AFR's. This porting of the LT-4 intake is NOT required however, just neccesary to develop optimal power.
I paid $2020.00 for the heads new.
I am asking $1000.00 or any reasonable offer.
If interested, send me a private message with questions or my contact info.
