AFR LT1 190cc Competition Ported Heads

Im looking at upgrading to larger volume heads and wanted to see if i could get any interest before i pulled these heads off my car. These were just freshly milled (just enough to get them to square), with a 5 angle competition valve job, brand new brass guides, and new comp 987-16 springs were installed ~1800 miles ago. Of course titanium retainers and stainless valves (2.02/1.60). I bought these from Brook Foreman (aggiez28). He is a trusted board member and he told me that the heads only had 3k on them. I then took them and freshed them and have put about 1800 miles on since. These run $2500 from AFR and id like to see what kind of offers i can get.

These are on my car currently and i would pull them off imeadiatly after a small deposit is placed. I also have an intake that is coated torch red and polished on top to look like an LT4 and gasket matched that i could offer with the heads. There is a current 8 week back order on these heads and at a whole lot more money.

Yeah im thinkin either 210s or 220s. Im staying with the stock ECU for now, so ill be spinning under 7k rpms so im thinking that maybe 210s would be a better choice? Thanks for the info on the GP tho,
Dan

Yeah thats lower than id be willing to go, typically thats what ported stock castings will bring. Id be willing to take a deposit and a later payment if you would be interested in doing something like that.

z2894convertible - Well it depends on flow numbers and who did the porting here is a set for $1200 http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=229049 but they were ported by a well known porter and flow very well it seems, but anyway,

696redz28 and 1984camaroz28 im sending you both pms now,
Dan

I'm a week away from ordering my AFR heads and for my setup the 195cc Comp Pkg are about 2500, acutally little less because they can't get equivalent springs to mine so I'm saving just a little for springs. I guess your price for the mileage doesn't seem that great a deal. I looked but couldn't find their 190cc heads in their catalog or their website, 180, 195s & up. Would love to find a good set of these decent price online. What's your lowest asking price?

Actually ive already made a deal on these and am just waiting for a deposit. My asking price was much lower than $2500, that was just the list price of AFR's. Ill be sure let everyone know who was interested if the deal falls through,
