I need to sell this kit ASAP for my heads and cam project. Springs look to be in great condition.

Hmm, I thought they were much more than that new. Yes it is for the LT1. I guess I'll do $180 shipped to your door.

Is everything there for that kit to work? I dont see the retainers that fit atop the lifters that the springs sit in.

Never installed one of these before. I'm curious as to how the assembly sits in the motor without moving?

I think I see it...the pic is dark around the lifter retainers, but it looks as if the stock retainer spider holds down the new OEM roller lifter retainers that the AFR rev kit's springs sit in. The rev kit probably replaces those retainers with the taller ones machined for those springs. Still don't see how that large aluminum locating bar (with 'hydra rev' written on it) keeps from moving around. Can anyone help me out here?

Are they still in the motor or didya pull 'em out? The factory retainers were flat and about 3/8" thick. Those look like they're 3/4" thick.

Just wondering. I stepped up to a really healthy roller cam and need a good rev kit to match.

No, its currently not in my car. I'm wondering if you could call ARF and have them send new retainers or whatever if need be. I don't know much about this kit, except that it only has a few thousand miles on it.

**But if it is missing retainers and needs different ones, I'll go $170 shipped.

This kit is for the stock lifters. I don't have any retainers with the set, I've never even seen any for it. Never knew about them.

The big aluminum bar doesn't move around because of the spring pressure from all those springs. It is very secure... I'm running an afr rev kit and its great
