AFR 220 LT4 race heads

Ok guys here they are. I am switching my whole engine program and I no longer have a need for these heads. I made big power with these heads. I went 137 straight motor and 160 mph on 350hp shot of nitrous with these heads. This is about as good a set as you will find. Period!

AFR 220 Lt4 castings
Ported to 226 CC
2.08 int, 1.60 exh
Titanium retainers with locks
1.550 Triple Pacoloy Springs 4 passes on them 260lbs closed over 700 lbs open ( for big solid roller) I spun my motor over 8000rpm with these springs.
62 CC chambers

These heads were CNC ported by an independant CNC shop not AFR. Here are the flow numbers.

intake Exhaust without a pipe

.100 69 57
.200 146 118
.300 204 158
.400 262 196
.500 295 217
.600 306 231
.700 321 239

These numbers are from Fast Times motorworks in Chicago where I purchased the heads. These heads also include (and no I don't want to split them up) A set of custom made aluminum center bolt Moroso valve covers. These covers fit the heads and have clearance for any rocker gear you can think of.

Asking $4250 shipped

These are off the motor and ready to ship.

Vince

Vince, How much RWHP did you make with these heads to run 137 on motor? WHat kind of intake was used? What was the weight of the car?

Fastfatboy,

I made 547 rwhp with these heads With a Super Victor intake in a 3350lbs car with a TH400 tranny.

Threadedtire,
If you can get Fasttimes to make you a set without building your whole motor then I guess you will pay what I paid for them $4400. These heads have very little use and are in perfect condition. Fasttimes also isn't very big on this kind of work so its difficult to get them going on projects of this nature Although you are welcome to try. The only wear items on these heads are valve springs and guides. They have 25 passes on them so the guides are still new ( no street driving) and I put on new springs four passes ago. They are ready to go.

Anyone have any interest in these heads? I am open to serious offers. These are great heads and are very difficult to duplicate. Let me know.

Guys- just wanted to vouch for Vince as a great person to do deals with.

I also wanted to chime in about the asking price. This isn't merely some head worked over by the shop of the minute. This is a head worked over by one of the great engine builders of our time- Chuck Samuels. These are the best heads the classifieds have seen in a long time. They work. Plain and simple.

Not that it was needed, but just my $.02

those are some nice #'s...do these heads work better with a bigger engine than just the 350 because of the raised runners?
