AFR 216 runner heads LT1 LT4
AFR 216 runner heads LT1 LT4
Selling my AFR 216 runner LT1 LT4 heads off my procharged project. These heads started out at 195 AFR heads, and have been ported by Lloyd Elliot (portworks.com) out of Texas and the runner length is 216 now. I can get flow numbers for these heads, but they peaked at 294cfm at .600 and 236 exhaust (with pipe) using 2.05 intake 1.60 exhaust valve, 57cc. I have around $2600 in this setup and I am pricing to sell quick.
These heads have abour 100 miles on them and 6-8 dyno pulls on my engine.
ONLY reason I am selling it going with a different engine setup. These heads are ready to bolt up and go.
Asking 1450 Shipped to your door, these gotta go, so price is cheap.
Serious offers only
Thanks Ben

Re: AFR 216 runner heads LT1 LT4
Yep I am still staying LT1 of course
, doing a large runner 230-240 SBC head converted to match a 2.9 whipple blower, Almost done building the base (started out as a single plane, all cut up now).
Going to sell my cam too 224/230 112 lsa .578 .598 lift for $260 shipped, gotta pull it still too.
BTW to those interested I still need the hardware from these heads (besides the 2.05 intake valve I will let them go, just need to add a 1.60 exhaust valve and your hardward)

Re: AFR 216 runner heads LT1 LT4
I found out I will need a different exhaust valve, so the buyer will receive these heads bare, BUT with valvs, just add your head hardware like valvesprings, rockers studs, rocker arms (use of your existing heads if you want to go that route, this is what I mean by hardware)
These same heads from AFR bare that flow 30 CFM less on the intake/exhaust will cost around 2000
I don't care to lose a little since I want to mess with a new project
Here is the flow numbers from Lloyd Elliot
The intake has a 58/45/33 valve job and the exhaust is a radius type valve job.
.2 136/105
.3 191/139
.4 241/173
.5 271/198
.6 289/214
.650 294/219
These were on Lloyds conservative bench, exhaust flow is without a pipe, he mentioned they would be around 236 with pipe
