Aerospace components front brakes (F-body)

Aerospace components front brake setup (part number: AC-261VRDSP). The brake setup only has around 2400 miles on them. These are off my fathers car and the car is undergoing a complete transformation from the current setup.

The specs according to the Aerospace Components website:

•Billet Aluminum 4 Piston Calipers
•Billet Aluminum Brake Hats
•Billet Aluminum Mounting Brackets
•11 3/4 Diameter .81 Thick Vented Rotors that have been Drilled, Slotted and Zinc Plated
•Grade 8 Hardware
•Hawk Performance Brake Pads
•Meets All NHRA / IHRA Requirements
•Retains Stock Sealed Bearing Hub Assembly and ABS sensors.

This lightweight setup is designed for STREET cars....not the "drag only" setup.

In addition to the above, the buyer will also be getting both front spindles and hubs so that this is a directy bolt-in with no additional work needed. I'll also include the stainless braided brake lines. Therefore, you won't have to hack up your existing spindles and can re-sell them.

These sell new for $815 not including the spindles, hubs, or stainless braided lines.

lowered to $650 shipped

Pics (currently still on the car):

The "hub" style is only offered in the drag-only setups. The street kits were only ever offered in the "hat" style like this.

I'd be willing to work a trade plus cash on your 359ci shortblock if you still have it.

Is there any weight reduction by switching over to this setup compared to the stock LS1 setup?

I think it's about half the weight, but I'll have to double check it to be exact.

I assume you are refering to front skinnies. Yes, they cleared the 15x3.5" Weld prostars with the normal spacer.
