99 SS for sale, California
99 SS, Black, all regular GM options, SS Grill, 17x11s on the back plus original 17x9.5, KBBDD subframe connectors, black ext, Dark grey int, M6, SLP Y pipe, Pro5.0 shifter w/Hurst Shift ****, T tops, leather, Optima battery, 4:11 gears. 71K miles, very excellent super A1 condition
It also has the following: LG Motorsports adjustable panhard rod, LG Motorsports strut tower brace, SS interior options such as SS plaque, Rear deck mat, and SS portfolio which includes a special SS owners manual cover with special goodies inside. I have the SS birth certificate from SLP which shows the date it was mfg'd and the sequence # of the car, and the original window sticker.
The stereo system consist of a Kenwood Z919 head unit which plays MP3s, preamp outputs with separate sub out and volume control, a 10 disk CD changer I have installed behind the passenger seat on the floor (loose to remove it for passengers), 12 speakers and 5 amps. The front speakers are generic tweeters (I kept blowing good ones, and so far the cheapies seem to be holding up an sound good) and 6/12" Kicker (can't remember which model, the best ones). The sail panels have the factory mid bass, seem to work great so why mess with them. The rear speakers are a set of generic tweeters again, and 5 1/4" Polk DB series (the best, they don't make them anymore) and a Qlogic dual 12" subwoofer enclosure with Pyramid Super Blue 12" woofers (300 watts RMS, 60 peak each)
The subs don't sound like they'd be very good given the name of the brand, but trust me, they sound really excellent, very tight, and WILL make your eardrums hurt if you want them to
The subs are powered by an MTX dual channel 700 watt amp under the Qlogic box. It is wired in Stereo mode with the subs, but it can be bridged. I didn't because the sound quality is fantastic as is. The front tweeter and speaker are powered separately by two Infinity 100x2 amps. The third Infinity amp powers the set of rear speakers, and there is a Sony 100x2 amp under the Qlogic box powering the sail panel speakers.
The door panels installed are not the originals. I got these off Ebay, because I did not want to cut holes in the originals for the tweeters. So I got a set of cloth ones with window crank holes and installed them. I still have all original parts including the door panels, which are flawless. Don't have pics, these are still in my storage but I will get some if you need them. Have the original wheels for the rear, the interior parts taken out for the amps, and all other misc pieces that have been removed for mods. The only original piece I don't still have is the panhard bar, I threw that one away.
The only bad things about the car, are a scratch on the left rear quarter of the car (can see in pics), the drivers seat bolster has a small wear mark on it, like the leather color has come off in that spot, but it's not ripped and still in good shape. There is also the normal wear of small chips on the hood from driving.
Other than that, runs drives great.
