i have a 96 camaro in good shape. but it has a 3.4l auto. im thinking of getting a 3.8 at the moment untill i can afford an ls1. what can i sell a 3.4l for and how much coul di buy a 3.8l for? and does a 3.8l fit with 3.4l trannys.


how much is a camaro 96 wit 3.4l cost? compare to 3.8l also. or would i tbe a big difference in selling the 3.4; or 3.8l camaro for a z28?

i had a friend with a 3.8 not that much a difference but some.. I say just wait till you can get a ls1. it's gonna cost you SO much to swap the motors and stuff so i say just wait.

 

well for some reason my 3.4l has power but wont show it. when i floor it. the motor gets loud and stuff but the speed is slow. idk why. and also its been making a knocking noise. people say its either, lifters, timing chain, or something else. not rods though. but why wont my 3.4 kick in and out run anything? it seems like it just likes to floor it to burn out the gas.
