93 6 speed trans and bell housing

93 6 speed trans and bell housing

It needs some work it shifts a bit hard and pops out of second some times but it works. 800.00 obo in the brandon Fl area 93's are awsome trans

Bell housing is gone still have m29 trans

Is the bellhousing specific to the year? Meaning with this 93 bolt up to my 97 bellhousing?
And this is a M29, not an M28?!

bell housing is gone maybe....But the trans is still here and My son said it's an m29 how can I be sure???

M29- is a GU5 pt#10236021

M28- is a GU2 pt#10236020

Bellhousings should be the same

GU 5 and GU2 are rear gear ratio codes aren't they...glove box says GU 5 and I dont see them numbers you posted on the trans anywhere
