1978 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale, 4 door sedan, 350 V8 Olds Rocket, Rochester 4 bbl carb, 87k miles, bought from the original owner's family locally last year. Has some slight lifter noise, but since my mechanic is the same mechanic that this lady had, he claimed it had that noise for the past 10 years and has run fine since! Runs very nice (got me 8000 miles since same time last year), transmission shifts as smooth as silk, but the body needs some help. It has typical Chicago rust on the underside, has front end damage, and also needs a rear bumper (this one is rusted). Interior is very clean, but the headliner is sagging. Dash board has 2 slight cracks, but otherwise is MINT. Has power windows (strong motors), power locks, rear defogger, cruise (does not work, including bright lights), AM/FM radio, tilt wheel, A/C (compressor needs work), power steering, and power brakes. Dark Metallic Blue exterior, blue cloth interior, also have original shop manuals, owners manuals, brochures, build sheet, ALL receipts for work I've done, and Oldsmobile Historical Research Package. I also will include a one-year paid membership to the Oldsmobile Club of America. Has new tires, new brakes, new heater core, new thermostat, and new fuel pump, otherwise 100% original and restorable. As a daily driver, you can't beat it, very, very reliable. The original Oldsmobile Rocket 350 V8 & THM350 transmission is well worth the purchase in itself. $800.
