Brand new 700R4/4L60E 3-4 Red EagleŽ Clutch/Kolene Steel Kit
Never been used but box was open for quantity count purpose.
If you are going to rebuild your trans, this kit is a must....
The 3-4 clutch pack has long been a problematic area for performance oriented 700R4/4L60E transmissions. Numerous factory updates were performed in an attempt to boost service life in stock applications. None were good enough for all out performance use.
TCIŽ kit #374190 is the hot ticket for easily building a 3-4 clutch pack that will live in the most demanding of situations. The TCIŽ 374190 fits all year models of 700R4 and 4L60E/4L65E transmissions. You will be given the ability to install up to nine Alto Red EagleŽ clutches without any machine work. Coupled with KoleneŽ treated steels, the 3-4 clutch pack will now have the ability to spread the energy load over more friction plate surface area. The salt bath nitriding process on the KoleneŽ steels provides a surface treatment that enhances wear and fatigue resistance up to 500%.
A special top backing plate and custom thickness snap ring eliminate the need for any machine work to accommodate this clutch pack. Detailed instructions are included.
