I got a fresh rebuild that cost me 1200 dollars at the begining of last summer by the end of the summer i decided to go with a 96 lt1 which has a different bolt pattern. The local dealership says it will fit any 3.4 4.3 or ls1. I do not have the converter so i am asking 600 obo. It is now on e-bay

 

Would you accept any trades? I have an intake, heads, crank, rods and pistons, stock converter, stock cam, stock rockers.

 

i pm'd you the only trades i would consider would be slick with wheels or partial on a moser thanks though

 

fyi... I dont believe that the the 4L60e will bolt up to a 3.4l motor and vice versa.. I looked into when I pulled mine to see if i was gonna have rebuilt for my new set up and the answers that I got said it wouldnt work.

well the only info i have is from the dealership so i guess it will be buy at your own risk because that is the onlly info i have. If somone knows for sure let me know thanks.

The 4l60e will not bolt up to the 3.4 the bolt pattern is different this is what a friend just told me!!

 

As I stated before I have no Actual evidence all I know is what the dealership told me. Although this is not the expertise of your friend I am not sure if I get evidence of it not being able to fit I will make a new post.

it cant work with a lt1 and ls1 the pumps are different/inputs shfts are diff and the bell housing are different

 

Well maybe it is just the 3.4 and ls1 b/c I just found out it won't work for the lt1. I know for sure that the tranny from a 3.8 will fit an ls1 but this is new territory for me.
