406ci fresh shortblock & extras

I've got a 400 2-bolt main block bored .030" (406ci). This is freshly machined and assembled by a local speed shop, never run. I purchased it from the guy who had it built so I don't have explicit info, but this guy is a serious car builder & he originally built it for his own vehicle but never used it. I spoke to the machine shop, they've built other motors for him and said he pays to have things done right. The block was magnafluxed and align-honed. It has the stock rods & crank with ARP rod bolts, KB flat top pistons (2 valve reliefs) with floating wrist pins. The front of the crank was balanced to use a 350 style balancer (as I understand it), and the correct new Fluidampr balancer is included. The block was checked and did not need to be decked so it still has original deck height. It has the oil pump installed and the oil pan & timing cover on it. I also have a new double row timing set, plus a stamped steel balancing weight for the flywheel (I was going to use this with a T-56). I'm asking $1000, which is what I have in it and is less than you could purchase a core & the extras and have built yourself. If you want more cubes, here's your chance to get it for a good price. Pick up in Louisville, Ky. I could possibly be convinced to deliver within 100 miles or so. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions at shawnnorthener@insightbb.com.

I also have a Centerforce T-56 flywheel for two-piece rear main blocks if interested for $300 obo.
