396 stroker assembly and 4 bolt main block for sale

pistons are SRP part# 144995
Rods are Eagle part# 6000B3D
Crank is Eagle part# 435338756000

Pistons have a 5cc dish which will yield 12.2:1 CR with 58cc heads, 11.4:1 with 64cc heads. Rods are 6" H-beam 4340 forged steel. Crank has a 3.875" stroke and is also 4340 forged steel.

This setup cost right about $1600

The block is an LT1 from a 94 Z28. It has been bored .030" over using torque plates. It also has 4 bolt splayed main caps. It has been align honed and ready for parts to be bolted up. I had $800 in labor alone for all the work done to it.

I want to sell this as a package so email me some offers or someone let me know how much I should sell these for. It is basically a whole shortblock. I also have other parts like crank hub, harmonic balancer, rear main seal, timing cover, oil pan

would this application be ok in a daily driver, still mostly streetable???

I guess kind of depends on the cam. assuming nothing crazy on the cam is it a daily driver setup?

The Comp ratio is my main concern. I thought the most that should be run on pump gas in an lt1 was 11.1:1 or something similar, but i've been very wrong before.

also I have lt4 heads, but don't know the size of the CC, i'm guessing it's standard on all lt4 heads, is it? do you or anyone out there know what it is? Valve size is 2.02 in and 1.585

I've seen LT1's run higher than 12:1 ion pump gas. The LT4 heads are a good start for building this 396. In fact I have a set of AFR valves if you are interested. I also have a solid roller cam made by Cam Motion

AFR valves?? what are they, and what are the specs on the solid roller cam, I think my lt4 cam is a roller rocker, would I have to change other things?? What are the cam specs that you have, how much for the both.

here are the cam specs

intake exhaust

duration 245.3 245.6
valve lift .612 .613
lobe lift .383 .383

lobe seperation 112

The valves are 2.08/1.6. Both are brand new never installed

I want $350 for valves and cam, that's about the price for just the cam so you'll be getting the valves for free
