Look up all the parts and you'll see how much money I have dropped into this thing. The short block only has 200 miles on it. Every thing else is fresh since I had the heads milled and installed the roller cam. The top end is 100% fresh with zero run time. It is still on the engine stand in the garage.
Price is $3k obo and I do mean OBO

The closest guestimate I can come up with as far as HP/TQ was around 475/450 with desktop dyno. It was pretty damn close on my first 355 I built...like within 10 hp/tq with all the nitty gritty info you can put in with that program like head flow data, cam timing and what not. I know that program is alot closer than some people give it credit if you put ALL the info that it lets you put it. I would say that those numbers should be pretty close.
selling off because I can't find a good home (project) for it that doesn't need a ton of work. Plus I am getting my buddy's 94z that he spun a rod bearing in that already has some mods to it. Last time it ran, it was running 13.20s on street tires and a stock convertor and stock cam. So I got all the parts to rebuild the short block, plus have a little head work done and put a hot cam in it. Plus it'll be something I won't be afraid to let the wife take on a cruise. The last car I had the 383 in before the head/intake work and roller cam was just flat scary and it only got 8-9mpg average.
Just want to get into something that is easier to play with, something the family can go for a cruise with the t-tops down, and I can still get scary fast with if I want to.
I also have a TCI TH400 and 3500 convertor I had mated to this engine with the same 200 miles on, for sale for $800 for both.

Plus everyone knows....that if I had this thing assembled at some Hi-Po speed shop with all the reciepts to prove it, it would probably be worth more in someone's mind, than it beight assembled by me by hand in the shop at the dealership I work at. Everyone knows the resale value on engines like that is crap...so I figured I'd price it for about half of what the parts and michine shop bill was so I could make an easy sale......turns out I guess I still can't move this baby easily.
