383CI Engine for Sale
I have a 383CI LT1 Engine that cam out of my roommates car. We are building a drag race car for him and he would like to get rid of it. Here is the information:
383 CI LT4 Block
LT4 Heads that flow 292CFM. Flow sheet included.
LT4 Intake Ported
Coated Bearings
Oliver Rods
Callies Crank
Program Engineering Caps
260/264@112 Solid Roller Cam from Comp
All ARP hardware in complete engine
Holley 50# Injectors
Canton F-Body Race Pan
Hooker Long Tube Headers
Sheet Metal Valve Covers
Hardened pushrods
Isky Gold Stripe Springs Dual
Manley Super 7 Retainers
Manley Super 7 Locks
Comp. 1.6 rocker arms
CSI waterpump
This engine has 9.3/1 compression and was built for a supercharger/NOS. It made 560FWHP engine only, on the engine dyno and is capable of over 800FWHP with the supercharger on the engine dyno running high boost. This engine was installed in the car a few weeks ago and ran once before we decided to build a small block for it. We want more power. We would like $8500 plus shipping is the least we would take. We could also change the compression ratio for an additional $800 which would include new parts and labor. An engine like this is $15,000 from places like More Performance or Lingenfelter. Anyone interested should contact me for more questions or information.
