383 Short block for sale

For sale is a Lt1 383 short block. The block was machined 30 over, clearance for the stroker crank and was line bored. The block was also stress relieved and was fully race prepped with each piston hand fit to each cylinder. The pistons are forged JR full floaters, Eagle H beam rods and a fully prepped knifed edged, etc. steel Scat crank. It is fully assembled with knew cam bearings, mains etc. The block does not have lifters, cam or a timing set. I have close to 3k invested and I am looking to get 2100 obo. I am selling it only because I was laid off of work and it needs to go. If you have anymore questions let me know.

Is the crank forged or cast?
do you mean JE pistons? What is the dish of the piston r are they flat tops?
Is this a 2 bolt block still and if so was it set up for studs?

Thanks

Yes the block was studded and has 2bolt mains that have been stress relieved. Yes you are right they are Je pistons. They are flat tops, the EST is around 11.0 with STD LT1 heads. The guy has done so much work with the motor I cant remember it all. What I am going to do is talk to him and get an exact list of all of the small things he has done to the block. He was actually going to put studs in the block at one time for the heads but I am not sure if he is that far along yet. The motor just went together a few days ago. The crank I ordered was a cast steel crank, but when we got the parts delivered the machinist thought that they sent a forged piece by mistake. So I am not sure on that yet but I would just say that it’s a Scat cast steel setup.

Do you need it in one lump some or would you take payments? Do we have any information on the crank whether its forged or cast?
