383 with Lloyd's LE2 package
383 by Burlington Performance
LE2 PACKAGE
Intake ported by Lloyd for 58mm TB
2.00/1.56 Ferrea valves
Comp 987 dbl springs
Eagle Forged LT1/SBC Crankshaft 3.75" Stroke
Eagle SIR connecting rods
Aries Forged Pistons(made for nitrous)
Cloyes Double Roller timing set
Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 Ratio Rocker Arms
160 Stat
New OEM lifters
SVO 36# Injectors
Internally balanced.
Selling everything to get money for a house. New cost $4100 on the shortblock/assembly, then $1600 for Lloyds heads/cam/intake, $250 for the injectors. Car ran 11.78 at 115.6(n/a) on a 255/50/16 drag radial on a shakedown pass with a base tune. The car only made it to the track this one day. Sorry no dyno #'s on the setup but as you can tell by the track times its making good power. With a good tune and some slicks it should be a solid 11.10 car.
With about 750 miles on the motor the waterpump locked up and caused the timing chain to break. I pulled the motor and the machine shop completely disassembled it to ensure nothing was screwed up, and replaced the bent valves with brand new Ferrea valves. At this point we added the cloyes double roller timing chain(which means you will have to run an electric waterpump). The motor is still at the machine shop and I will be getting it back early this week.
Make me an offer, I am willing to split up the shortblock and heads/cam/intake package if I have buyers for both.

Re: 383 with Lloyd's LE2 package
It'd be fine for a daily driver, my car was daily driver and I planned to keep it one for a long time. I forgot to mention it's a 11:1 motor so it'll be fine on pump gas.
Re: 383 with Lloyd's LE2 package
I'm interested in the shortblock, it might be a great match for my Dorton heads I've been sitting on....you can PM or e-mail me with a price. I would prefer to pick up, especially if you can meet in KC or somewhere on the Missouri side....
