i have a 2 bolt main 383 with 400 crank and rods, Dart 180cc iron eagle heads, dart dual plane intake(just like the edelbrock RPM airgap) comp cams XE 274 cam, Forged speed pro pistons. Thats the basics. Motor was built 3 months ago. I put 300 miles on it and 20 passes at the strip, 5 nitrous shot (100 shot). motor was taken care of. Heads, valvetrain, cam, timingchain, intake, rockers, were all brand new when 3 months ago. Looking to sell it complete, all you would have to do is add carb and distributor for $2000. If not im going to part it out if anyones interested. I will ship everything but the shortblock.

give me all the info on the internals and what exactly you have done to the block and a price on the shortblock....dont need the cam and timing gears....

 

the block was hot tank and manafluxed, bored over .030 was line bored, and new freeze plugs. Block is a 2 bolt block and recieved all new main bolts (not studs), block was also clearanced. New cam bearings were installed, 400 crank was ground down to 350 mains and installed. 400 rods recieved new rod bolts and bearings. It has speed pro pistons that are forged and have pressed in pins. shortblock was built 3 months ago by a local machine shop. It has been taken care of and oil was changed after ever trip the the dragstrip. If you want just the shortblock how does $500 sound and you can come pick it up? Let me know.

 

How much for the heads?

 

the shortblock is sold and i think i have the heads sold also. Only thing left is the intake....
