3.42 Ring and pinion set GM 7.5 10 bolt

Im selling a set of 3.42's that I took out of my 97 ss when it had 9,000 miles on it, theyre GM factory gears. I changed them out for 4.10's, they had no noise, theyre basically new. I would like $85 shipped

would they fit in a 96 rearend? im not sure if they are the same series carrier or not. if so ill take buy em next friday for sure. i really need them.
