2800 stall and tranny

Got a 2800 vigi stall from my 94 z28. The free restall has already been used on it. Should be sent back and cleaned before use $400 plus shipping

Also have the old 4l60e out of my car. Its been gone through twice already it was taken out to something a little stronger. Lookin for $300 plus shipping, but I'm willing to take resonable offers on it. Would be good for someone looking to buy one to build to lessen the down time on their car.

Please send pm's as I don't check my e-mail that often

Joe

Why does it need to be cleaned? Was it in a tyranny that let loose? Will you take $250 for it?

well, there are usually vig's that have a restall left, and dont need cleaned or repaired going for 400-450....... I dont think the offer was "stupid" IMO

Don't remember asking your opinion. But thanx for your 2cents. You did prove that the saying is true. You know the one about *******s and opinions.
$400 may be a "Damn good deal" as you put it. But not if the transmission it was in shattered and it's been restalled all it can be. Not sayin that this is the case but if it is that's why I offered what I did.

Lowballers are the *******s!!!
A converter flush is a good idea no matter what if you buy a used converter. Its cheap to have done at most any tranny shops. Sure as hell doesnt cost the $150 you tried jacking the guy for! At least he was honest about it and didnt try and sell you a POS thats gonna screw up your tranny! Half price or even less than half price for a Vigilante converter is a good deal compared to buying a new one. Once you get one of their converters, they will rebuild it dirt cheap for you if need be. As for the restall, thats not expensive either, and how many other converter manufactures offer a free restall anyways? Besides, he already told you what the stall is, if you don't like it or know what you need then go buy a new one for $800+!!!

As far as my "lowball offer" goes. Seems to me that a person like you must have soooo much money that you buy everything at the highest price and expect to get that out of it when you sell it. I guess you never go to flea markets, swap sales or yard/garage sales. You should learn about what haggling is, because it's what people do on used stuff.
Like all women you'll probally reply with another post so you can have the last word. I'm done with this bickering with someone who has nothing to do with this.
The sellar has the right to refuse an offer if it seems unreasonable.
My offer still stands of $250 no shipping needed because I can pick it up.

Re: 2800 stall and tranny

I'm sorry but I can not let this stall go for 250 dollars. I listed the "should be cleaned before use" b/c I didn't want someone to buy it and throw it right in there car and have something unforseen happen. No the tranny did no blow up but it is slipping a little bit but will still get the car down the road. The tranny prolly just needs new bands. Not 100% sure on that though. I don't think 400 dollars is unresonable for this stall, if you can find out for a better price I'd say ****** it up cuz less then 400 for a vig is a helluva deal.
