1995 Firebird Formula For Sale
1995 Firebird Formula For Sale
1995 Firebird Formula 6-speed with tons of new parts and performance upgrades. I am only the second owner of this beautiful and fast car. She has been garage kept most of her life and most of the miles are highway miles as myself and the original owner used it as a daily commuter. I also have a folder full of all the receipts for the performance parts/installation and regular maintenance that has been done to her since she was new. The car has keyless entry, power locks and windows, cruise control, rear defrost, dual airbags, AC, AM/FM radio and CD player with premium 10 speaker sound, steering wheel radio controls, locking T-tops(which absolutely do not leak), and factory anti-theft.Basically every option except leather and power seats. On top of all that she still gets 27-28mpg on the highway!
Here is the list of everything that has been done to her, she truely is like new (only the way GM should have built her)!
Engine:
350ci LT1
Brand NEW GM installed Opti Spark with 12 month/12,000 mile warranty and opti spart harness and vacuum harness
GM Water Pump with only 3,000 miles on it
Taylor 8mm Spark Plug wires with 5,000 miles on them
Plugs changed at 100,000 miles with AC Delco Platinums
New Ignition Control Module
New fuel filter
LT4 Knock Module
160degree SLP Thermostat
Radiator was recently flushed and new endcaps installed
New EGR valve, PCV valve, and vacuum check valve
New Felpro head gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, and exhaust manifold gaskets
Heads were resurfaced, also a 3-angle valve job and new JRE Springs, retainers, and locks installed at 110,000 miles (springs good to .600 lift if you want to put a cam in her, 140lb/inch) The shop said it was the cleanest high mileage engine they had ever seen!
Suncoast Creations Ram air with K&N Filter and Smooth Bellows
Holley Throttle Body Airfoil and Throttle Body Bypass
Throttle Body (including Inlet Air Controller) and Mass Air Flow Sensor recently cleaned
Oil is changed every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 10W-30 Synthetic and there are no leaks anywhere.
Exhaust:
3" stainless BORLA Y-pipe
New Carsound 3" high flow catalytic converter
Edelbrock Muffler
JEGS 3" Cutout
Drivetrain:
T56 6-speed transmission and 3.42:1 Limited Slip Rearend
Transmission fluid recently changed with top of the line GM Synchromesh partial synthetic fluid
Polyurethane Torque Arm Bushing
Polyurethane Transmission Mount
Pro 5.0 shifter (shortened 1") with a red anodized ball with engraved pheonix
Skip Shift eliminated
3,000 miles on SLP Clutch and Pressure Plate, new pilot bearing, and resurfaced flywheel. Also put in a new rear main seal when I did the clutch eventhough it didnt need it.
Suspension:
Bilstein Shocks
Eibach Pro Kit Springs
BMR boxed lower control arms with polyurethane bushings
Suspension Techniques swaybars with polyurethane bushings
LG Motorsports G2 4-point strut tower brace
LG Motorsports adjustable panhard bar
Appearance/miscellaneous:
Suncoast Creations fiberglass Ram Air Hood
17" WS6 Replica Wheels
275/45/17 Kumho Supra Ecsta 712 Tires with about 7,000 miles on them (no burnouts or racing, almost all highway, they are like new)
Replaced the Headlight control module
New driver side power window motor and turn signal flasher unit
New windshield wipers
Newer GM floormats
The grey cloth interior is immaculate. The exterior is beautiful and is the original paint that is always waxed and still shines like new (you can see the asphault reflecting in it in the pics!). The car recently passed MD inspection and emissions and has a clean carfax report and clear title. The passenger side tailight has the inside lamination seperating, which unfortunately is very common in these cars. It functions just fine, but being a perfectionist it annoys me. It gives the tailight that cloudy look. It may not bother you at all, but if it does you can purchase one from a junkyard or ebay for about $50 or you can uprgrade the entire rear light panel to the 98 and newer honeycomb style for about $200. This is what I would do, it is a direct bolt on (10 minutes tops) and looks so SWEET! I hate to see my baby go, especially after typing this list, but my financial situation dictates that I must sell her.
I live very close to the BWI airport in Maryland and would be more than happy to meet you there and you can drive her home. I am more than confident she can make any distance trip as she has made multiple 9 hour trips from MD to SC for college without any problems. About 600 miles each way. She has 113,000 miles on her but it is almost all highway mileage, she has never even been to the strip! Never seen snow or road salt (spent her life in Georgia and SC) mostly garage kept.
Email me at ewsmith@clemson.edu for pics or more info or you can call me at 301-725-2563 in the evenings. Ask for Eddie. I am asking $7500 obo.
