1993 LT1 / T56 Part Out - Canton, Ohio

I am parting out my LT1 swapped RX-7. The engine spun a bearing (#6 cylinder) and the mating cylinder%u2019s bearings (#5) didn%u2019t look great either. The crank will probably need to be turned or possibly replaced.

I would like to have these items picked up. The engine will have to be picked up most likely. For the others I can probably meet you within a reasonable distance. I am located in Canton, Ohio.

Engine - Sold

PCM - Sold

Harness - Sold

Low mount alternator bracket - Sold

Unless otherwise noted all remaining components have less than 3000 miles on them (total mileage since the swap).

OEM clutch, OEM pressure plate, RAM aluminum flywheel. - Sold

Powerbastards 200 Amp Alternator - Sold

CSR electric water pump and OEM housing (will come with a 160%u00B0 SLP thermostat) - Sold

Summit Racing Optispark I (non-vented, spline drive) - $150

I also have ported aluminum LT1 heads (flow numbers are before a valve job and some additional exhaust porting, all performed before I bought them), titanium retainers, 10 deg locks, and 3/8 studs with guideplates. The intake volume is 197 cc and the exhaust side is 62 cc. The springs are good up to .600 lift for a hydraulic roller cam. I bought the heads already in this condition but never installed them. I also have an LT1 intake that is port-matched and can accept a 58mm throttle body. I%u2019d like to sell them as a set.

Lift Intake Exhaust
0.200 127.5 95.0
0.300 186.2 128.1
0.400 231.0 151.1
0.500 251.7 171.5
0.600 255.2 181.7
0.700 258.0 186.8

Heads/Intake - Sold

I also have a used NX wet nitrous kit that I never installed. It is a basic kit with a bottle, relay, solenoids, and lines. The bottle was full when I bought it so it should still be full. I will sell this before the engine is sold but since the bottle is full it can't be shipped.

Asking $300 for the nitrous.

T-56 - Sold

If you have any questions or would like to view some of the parts feel free to PM me. Thanks for looking!

These parts are coming out of a Mazda RX-7 not an F-body. I swapped in the LT1 a few years ago. I'm assuming you are asking about the steering shaft off an F-body. Unfortunately I only have a few other engine components aside from what is listed and no F-body chassis components. If you are asking about the RX-7 parts I will be selling the chassis complete and I'd rather not part that out.

Bump for price drops on most of the parts. I'd like to get these parts out of the garage.

I also have some pictures as well.

I'm interested in the trans, however I need to find a source for a bell housing first.

Ok, let me know.

I dropped the price again on many of the parts and updated what is still available.

Do you know which trans it is? The 93's came with 3 different trans options

M28
M29
MN6

Not sure if those codes would be on a tag, but they were rpo codes from the car

I know its a long shot, but I thought I would ask

thanks

I can't guarantee the transmission was original to the F-body I bought it from. I can try to look for a tag on the transmission but I've never noticed one before. However, I believe it is not an M28 or an M29 transmission. I wasn't aware there was a third option in 93 so I just figured it was swapped in from a 94+.

The reason I don't think it is an M28 or an M29 is because on the highway in the RX-7 the engine spins at 1800 rpm at 65 mph. The RX-7 has 4.10's in the back with 255/40R17 tires. I believe with the M28 or M29 (0.62 6th) at 65 mph the engine would be around 2200 rpm. Therefore I'm pretty sure the transmission is a T-56 with a 0.50 6th gear.

I wasn't sure if there was a 3rd option either, so I just added the 94+ trans code.

Good catch on the OD gearing though. That is a great clue.

Guess I'll keep searching

thanks and good luck with your sale
