do you need to run longer studs with that backspacing or not?

 

I'm not sure. I didn't think studs had anything to do with back spacing. I doubt you'd need loger ones than stock.

 

5.5" backspacing is stock backspacing for our cars, so no longer studs would be needed... not that backspace has anything to do with stud length.. Stud length comes into play when you use wheel spacers

 

k thanks! what size of tire can you run with these rims?

 

If I were going to run them I'd use a 275/60, but you can do anything you want from roughly 245-275.

You will need longer wheel studs if you want to run them at the track. You need to have one diameter of the stud protruding out of the open end of the lug nut. I had to get 3" long wheel studs in my 9" to make that work with my Bogarts.
