I bought this car from BJ Schrader last year as a fun car for the track. I paid $10,000 and had it shipped over from Texas to Orlando Florida. The reason that I am selling this car is that I have bought a new house and can not afford to keep the car. From what BJ (Slomaro on Camaroz28.com) told me, he invested roughly 15K-20K on this car. He dyno’d the car at 505 hp but I do not have the sheet. The car is not perfect but would be a great head start to a finished project. Obviously I can simply list all of the goodies but I believe people would rather know what’s wrong with the car first so they know exactly what they are getting. I am not here to make a profit on BJ’s work, scam anyone, or lose my own shirt. I just want out of debt.
The exhaust on the car was not done right so I cut it off and left the car as an open header short straight pipe. (I have a local track nearby)
The center console arm rest is broken but still sits on the center console. (seems like someone opened it too hard)
Small puncture behind driver seat (BJ said candle holder hit it when he hit the brakes)
The stereo is touchy but it is an eclipse head unit. I think a wire is frayed behind the head unit or one of the speakers.
Needs and oil cap breather
Electrical system issue:
When we were jumping my girlfriend’s car off of mine, she crossed the jumper cables and touched them together. This played havoc on the front end electrical equipment in my car. I think it’s the mainline fuses to the intercooler pump and the Scanmaster but I have not had the time to look further into it. The car computer itself was not damaged. The battery will need to be replaced as well.
What I want:
I simply want to get out of the car without losing too much money. I should be able to part the car out for the $10,000 (Engine $5,500 Trans $1,500 Vortec/Intercooler $1000 Rolling Chassis $2,000) but I do not want to go through the hassle. I would like to start the selling price at $10,000. This car is an easy fix and will make a monster of a performer. I will look into tracking down exactly what the engine is made out of and what the transmission is if I can still find the sheets. I am open to reasonable offers as well.
I can take pictures of anything and send them to you on request.

Hi Brian. Man, I hate to see that you're selling her, but do I ever know what you're going through. I'm just now getting back on my feet again, but it took adding a whole lot of water to that soup to get it done. Oh, I didn't send the dyno sheet with the car? Must've had my head up my @$$ (it's been there a lot lately). I'll try and scramble it up then to help you sell it. You know, a lot of people that I used to race with have asked about that car. If I had the money to invest in it, I'd jump back in the saddle. However, right now I'm driving a '94 Lincoln MK8 (for sale, of course...but a great car though) and I NEED a truck like nobody's business (love to have a Lightning, but I have to find one at the right price and I'm in no hurry). Anyhow, if there is anything I can do to help, lemme' know. For anyone who's interested, the car is FAST AS $#!T!!!! No foolin'. The only race I had in her after she was all buttoned up was against a sprayed 355 LT1 formula with sticky tires...no contest at all...even with the tires spinnin' (had street tires on). This car also broke the tires loose at 60 mph on the highway in OK when I had it tuned. Ed Wright's assistant at the time (don't really remember his name) said it was one of the most streetable cars he'd ridden in, especially with that much power. If anyone has any history questions, please feel free to email me.

Did you have it sitting at Chuck & Clancy's shop in longwood for a while???
If this is the car I think it is, its quite awesome, i never rode in it but I did hear it run... It sounds oh so nice.. I wish i had the money =p

At this time I am still tenative about parting out the car. It would take a lot more work to do that at this time then I would like to get into. I will also like to state that if/when I have to actually part the car out, I will begin with offers that include coming and removing the items yourself. Again this revolves around the issue of I do not have the time nor the equipment to strip this vehicle. Even with self removal I believe my prices are reasonable. Again, my goal is not to make a profit but to recover my debt.
Sounds like a car id buy right now if i could but i only got 4000 cash and my 94z so i cant go about buying it now plus i live in indiana, but if u held onto it till summer and asked me about it id buy it for sure, no bull**** here, id love to have a monster like that, i could do wonders with it im sure
